I'm Kyle Perras, a gameplay engineer
and technical designer that loves designing
and building out fun gameplay systems.
I'm an engineer specializing in moment to moment gameplay in offline and online settings. My favorite things to work on are player controls, 3rd person combat, and enemy AI design, but I happily jump on any feature that will improve a player's experience.
I've worked in the games industry for 4 years now on a variety of projects. However, most of my time has been spent on first and third person action games in Unreal Engine 4 & 5. In my spare time, I like to work on my own small prototypes and games.
Games have always been a massive part of my life. The wonder they inspired when I was young can't be overstated. Those are the experiences I want to create and shape. I want to make games that people can't stop thinking about.
